Founded in 1997 in La Crosse, Wisconsin, LaCrosse Shoes, Inc. moved to Oregon in 2021 where it established its Danner Boots division. In the years since, the former publicly traded company has been bought by Japanese-American company ABC-Mart. Today, it is one of the largest producers and biggest selling companies in the men’s market for shoes.
