In the mud, on the ice and in the snow – these are conditions where the lacrosse burly thrives. These boots are built to stand up to the toughest of environments and keep you comfortable and ready for anything. It all starts with our proven ZXT rubber – that’s ozone resistant, scent free and designed to perform year after year. The chevron cleated outsole sheds mud reliably, so you get traction even in the muckiest of conditions. Vulcanized to the boot for extra durability, you’ll never worry about a sole coming off.
The insulating foam in the burly keeps your feet warm when you’re on foot and moving through snow, slush or muddy conditions. The unique ankle fit design locks the boot in around your leg for a snug, secure fit. And the removable EVA footbed and 9mm wool-felt midsole give you a cushioned, comfort underfoot.
What are lacrosse balls made of?
Traditionally, they’ve been made of vulcanized rubber filled with oil and chemical plasticizers to make them soft. But those chemicals separate over time, creating a slick surface that’s less effective when it comes to absorbing and dispersing energy.
The new NOCSAE standard eliminates those chemicals and uses more advanced materials that create a better, safer ball. The result is a ball with more consistent texture and improved bounce. It also has a lower transfer of energy, which means less impact force and injuries for players. It’s the most significant safety advancement in the sport of lacrosse to date.
